Riley launched Film Wives Productions with filmmaking partner Katherine Crump in 2018. They share a dedication to bettering the conditions for women in film and a mutual love for storytelling that comes through in all of their projects. Together, they co-wrote and co-directed their first short film, “ROLLING” in 2018, and the project took them to the Terminus Film Festival in Atlanta as well as helped them fulfill a lifelong dream of attending Cannes International Film Festival.
As a classically trained artist, Dismore’s attention to detail in visual storytelling sets her work apart. On top of screenwriting, directing and producing, art direction is one of Riley’s greatest skills. With experience spanning from set design to wardrobe and makeup to photography, her unique visual style shines through her work as a growing auteur.
Dismore’s background in performance as an actor and comedian also invariably influences her filmmaking. Working in front of and behind the camera, her wit and improvisation touch each of her films with an unmistakable, unique humor.
