Mitch Teplitsky is a documentary filmmaker and distribution consultant who makes uplifting stories that connect people across cultures, from Indiana to New York City and Peru. His first film SOY ANDINA screened on US public television. He more recently produced THE EARTHKEEPERS, about a composting start-up in Southern Indiana, for Indiana Humanities. Other projects include RETURN TO THE ANDES, about a woman running for mayor in Peru, and NEW AMERICAN GIRLS, a web series about Dreamers for PBS.org. Before making films, Mitch was marketing director at the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Originally from NYC, he and his Peruvian-born wife Doris have been based in both Bloomington and New York City since 2017.
