Carmia is a writer and actress from Redford, MI. Currently, she is in her senior year at Ball State University pursuing her BFA in Acting. Carmia uses her art as a means of activism, creating art to educate by intertwining her personal experiences as a black woman with black people’s unsettling history in America. Carmia will continue to use her platform as an artist to advocate for inclusivity, justice, and truthful representation for all people.
