Daisy Paroczy Hickey is an independent filmmaker and actor from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Having been a performer and creator her whole life, Daisy developed a love for filmmaking as an actor first, but quickly decided that she wanted to try working behind the camera too. Daisy’s first film that she wrote, directed and produced, clarity., had 11 Official Selections, 8 nominations, and 5 awards from several film festivals, including winning Best Experimental Film of the Year, 2021, Top Shorts Film Festival. Currently in pre-production, Daisy will be directing a new TV comedy series she wrote called Spells Abound, filming summer 2022. She is excited to continue her journey in filmmaking, with the support of her amazing husband, and is proud to be a part of the thriving Hoosier filmmaking scene.
