A ballet dancer is faced with the unwelcome attention of her instructor. Produced in Bloomington, Indiana with a cast of local ballet dancers.

Director’s note: Authority is based on a real and unfortunately commonplace event in athletics and the arts. With this film, I wanted to explore how even a full room of students did not notice or ignored obvious sexual harassment. We worked with a professional ballet company to identify and portray behavior that would be inappropriate even when physical touch is a necessary part of Ballet instruction.
